Introduction
The Sportsbook is an interactive sports betting game where you can compete against your friends and other users to win “bragging rights” and great cash prizes. You bet on current sporting events with the actual odds/lines that are available to the real money sports punters. Everyone competes on a daily and a weekly leaderboard where the top players each day and each week are eligible for great prizes.
How does it work?
Once you have signed up an account you have a starting balance of 10 000 points. The objective is to increase this balance as much as possible through sports betting in the space of one week. The top 5 finishers are eligible for prizes. In addition the player(s) with the greatest daily precentage increase will win daily cash prizes.
Every Monday all player accounts are reset to 10 000 points and a new weekly leaderboard competition is underway.
How do I get points?
You get points by winning bets or by refering friends. You will get 500 points per friend you refer to us (Use the refer a friend function available on "My page").
What if I run out of points?
Your account is automatically topped up with 1 000 points every day should you go bellow 1 000 the previous day. Hence with SportsbookforFun you never go broke! All balances are also reset to 10 000 points every monday. You can also invite friends to receive 500 points per friend that sign-up an account.
The sports betting
In order to place a sports bet please follow the following steps:
1) Choose a category in the category tree. I.e. Football > England > Premier League
2) Click on the “odds button” for the outcome you want to bet on.
3) Insert your bet amount in the amount field. You may bet up to your available points balance.
4) Click on the “Make a bet” button.
5) Your bet has now been confirmed and you may go to view it by clicking the “My Page” button on the left of the sports betting application.
You may cancel any pending bets by going to your "My page" and clicking on the cancel icon to the right of your "current bets". Once a bet is cancelled the wagered amount is credited back to your betting balance. Note that you may only cancel bets on events which have yet to start.
Once an event is finished the result is updated and your account balance is adjusted with any winnings you might have earned.
The Leaderboard
Daily leaderboard competition. The object is to increase your daily betting balance. The winner; has the greatest % increase in the space of one day (from 08:00 – 07:00 UTC).
The daily winner gets $5.
So now even if you should fall behind on the weekly leaderboard, the daily gives you the same chance as everyone else to be a winner (Remember your account is automatically refilled to 1 000 points if your balance is bellow the previous day).

All players are competing on the same weekly leaderboard. The weekly leaderboard competition starts every Monday at 08:00 UTC and finishes the next Monday at 07:00 UTC. All players has their account reset to 10 000 points at the start of a new week. This leaderboard is updated in realtime.

Top Recruiter Leaderboard and Refer Friends tool
You can view your position on the Top Recruiter Leaderboard on the Leaderboard page.
Use the Refer friends tool available on "My page" to recruit friends. You can either send them your personal url-link or send email directly from this page. Every referred friend who sign-up an account will also give you 500 points for the daily/weekly leaderboard competition.
